Pacific’s Board, Ski and Beach program

Pacific’s Board, Ski and Beach program provides structured training sessions for members who want to stay fit, develop their surf skills and compete at Surf Carnivals representing Pacific SLSC.

Led by accredited Surf Sports Coach Patrick Warn, training is open to all members from U8s and up - including parents who join as Associate Members and want to build fitness or improve their surf confidence.

Members competing in Under 14s through to Opens receive tailored training programs delivered by our qualified coaching team.

Training sessions run across various days each week at the club and nearby locations such as Tallebudgera Creek and Currumbin Creek. The weekly schedule is posted in advance on the Stack Team App and the Club Pacific Facebook page, with updates provided if weather conditions require changes. Members are welcome to attend one session or multiple sessions each week.

Training helps Nippers build confidence, improve fitness and prepare for carnivals if they choose to compete. Whether you paddle a board or ski, swim, or compete in iron events, you’ll find a session suited to your level and goals. All athletes must meet the minimum patrol hour requirements to compete.

Pacific SLSC has a proud history of producing high‑performing athletes in Beach Sprints, Flags and team events, with competitors achieving outstanding results at both State and National levels.

We’re confident you’ll find the program rewarding and that it will elevate your performance in Surf Sports.
