Founded in 1946 and patrolling since 1947, Pacific Surf Life Saving Club has been a proud part of the local community for generations. Positioned on a beautiful beachfront stretch between Tallebudgera and Palm Beach, the club continues to uphold its grassroots, family‑focused culture.
Unlike larger commercialised clubs, Pacific SLSC remains true to its community-first values - operating without pokies or a big bar/bistro, and instead fostering a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
The club provides active beach patrols from mid‑September tolate April and runs a popular Sunday morning Nippers program for children aged 5 to 13, helping young members build confidence, learn surf safety, and enjoy the beach in a safe, supportive setting
Pacific SLSC has been recognised for its excellence, earningtitles such as 2016 Australian Surf Club of the Year and QueenslandYouth Development Club of the Year.
Open daily from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Café Twelve91 serves all the breakfast favourites — from Eggs Benedict and corn fritters to pancakes, avo smash and bacon-and-egg rolls, plus smoothies, milkshakes and great coffee. Kid‑friendly and dog‑friendly, it’s a relaxed stop for families and beach walkers.
The only private, absolute beachfront venue on the Gold Coast with direct beach access, Pacific Beach Function Centre offers an ocean‑view covered balcony, beachfront ceremony lawn, licensed function room and indoor reception space. The venue accommodates up to 110 guests for seated dinners or up to 160 for cocktail‑style events, and is a popular choice for weddings, engagements, private celebrations and corporate functions.
